Moving Pro to a new iPhone

Open Settings → Pro → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. Pro is shared with your family through Family Sharing.

Changing or cancelling a subscription

Open Settings → Pro → Manage subscription in Umber, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Your canisters and coffees stay after Pro ends.

iCloud sync

Sync comes with Pro and starts the next time you open Umber after buying it. Your iPhone needs to be signed in to iCloud.

NFC stickers

• Register a sticker from a canister: hold its jar on the Canisters screen, choose Name & tags, then Register NFC sticker.
• Stickers don't work stuck directly on metal. Put the sticker on the lid, or use an anti-metal sticker.
• iPhone shows a notification when you tap a sticker outside the app. To see the canister card straight away, set up a Shortcuts automation: Name & tags → Set up tap to open walks you through it.

Scanning a bag

Umber reads labels on your iPhone. With Apple Intelligence it also reads scales drawn as graphics, such as intensity sliders. Without it, Umber reads the printed text. Fields marked "Check this" were hard to read.

Siri

Try "Pull a shot in Umber" or "What's my grind in Umber". Settings → Siri in the app lists every phrase and shows how to make your own.
